Caught In A Vortex
Yesterday was shitty until a spot-on, savage rehearsal and a bright, shiny mix of As Old As We Are lifted our spirits. We are incredibly excited to be playing live again soon. Mixing is fun when everything starts to come together and what was once a collection of disparate parts becomes a bona fide song, but the process itself is arduous and disorienting. I felt well and truly skull-fucked after leaving the studio at midnight. It's probably for the better that mixing will be spread out over a month or so - doing this every day would drive me completely insane.Looking forward to some old-fashioned warts n' all rock n' roll performances:
