well well well. our first 3 songs from An Army of Lovers Can Be Beaten have been mastered and are up on our Myspace. there's still a lot of work to be done but we're getting there. last time in the studio did a solo run-through of Billy, a kind-of old tune, kind-of atypical for us but i like the lyrics and it offers a nice changeup in the running order. layered some warped drone Casio, piano and a couple vocals and it was pretty much done. then puffed up Light Makes Shadows with choral harmonies and backwards piano and it sounds lovely. just need to drum up some more $$$ and we can get back to mixing and tracking the last 2 songs, which have finally taken shape in rehearsal. money money money, why are you so hard to come by? no shows for a while, not until June 13 at Lit, but we'll keep you posted.brendan.
